Personal Librarian Program
The Libraries launched the Personal Librarian Program in Fall 2010 and in its first year, the Program matched over 2,800 freshman with 26 librarians.. Since, over 6,000 incoming freshman have been paired with Libraries staff members. The staff participants in the Personal Librarian Program provide freshman with an introduction to scholarship but also are a friendly face on campus helping a student guide his academic future.
The Program is currently managed by the Librarian for Undergraduate Learning who continues to evolve the Libraries’ efforts to help personalize the Drexel experience.
