Howard Pyle, noted American illustrator, was an art instructor and headed the Drexel Institute's School of Illustration from 1894 to 1900. This collection contains correspondence and pamphlets documenting Howard Pyle's time as an instructor in the school of illustration at Drexel. It also includes publications and other printed matter written about Pyle after his death in 1911.
