Basketball was the first sport played by women at Drexel; the Women's Athletic Association began organizing games in 1908 or earlier.  Records of the early days of women's basketball and other women's sports are available in the Women's Athletics Collection.  The Women's Basketball records date from 1976 to 1999 and consist of newspaper clippings, team rosters, brochures, and photographs.  Materials are currently interfiled chronologically.
