In addition to the images of the University of Pennsylvania, Castleman took photos inside Drexel's Main Building of the court and the museum.  She also captured the scene outside of her boarding house during the blizzard of 1899 that covered parts of the Philadelphia metropolitan area with up to a foot of snow.

William Wetmore Story's sculpture of Sappho, 1899 Boarding house row after the blizzard of 1899

Text handwritten on front: "The Enchanted Ground Palace"

Back: "W.W. Story's of Sappho in Drexel Institute"

William Wetmore Story's second version of his sculpture of Sappho, seen here, was given to Drexel by Sarah H. Peterson in 1892.

Reference: Jonathan Fairbanks, "William Wetmore Story's marble Sappho."  Magazine Antiques, January 1997

Front: "The snowdrifts were a sight to behold for many days"

Back: "Boarding house row after the blizzard of 1899"

Castleman does not identify the street seen here, but does note on another photo that the address of her boarding house was 3427.  Considering the numbering of Philadelphia streets at the time, it is likely that this house was in the vicinity of 34th Street.

Stairway in the interior court of the Drexel Institute Main Building, 1899

Front: "Marble stairway and frescoed wall"

Back: "Stairway of the Drexel Institute, part of entrance court, top of auditorium door, portrait of Anthony J. Drexel, & upper balcony, as seen from the front doorway."

The portrait of A.J. Drexel above the auditorium entrance was placed there after his death.  In 1905, a marble bust of Drexel, given to the Institute by Sarah Drexel Van Rensselaer, was placed at the landing on top of the first flight of stairs.
