Tim Siftar enhances the use of the Drexel University Libraries' resources for students and faculty in the School of Education and College of Information Science & Technology. He does this by teaching group and one-on-one sessions on the identification, selection, and use of the Libraries' electronic and print resources. He also develops the collections relevant to the curricular areas he supports including the online information technology collection and the children’s and teen print collections.

As the faculty advisor to the student chapters of several library professional associations, Tim advises library science students on professional opportunities.
