Drexel students, alumni, faculty, and staff may request information or copies of materials free of charge. For outside researchers, some fees may apply. Please see our fees for service page for more information.

Finding images
Many images are available online in our digital collections. Please contact us to request higher-resolution copies of any images on our site.
To find photographs by subject, see our photograph collections and all collections containing photographs.
To request copies of images, or to see images in other collections, please contact us.
Receiving images
Images can be delivered in TIFF or jpeg format. Small files can be sent via e-mail attachment. Larger files can be burned to a CD or hosted online as a password-protected download.

Finding documents
Many of the collections in the archives are listed on our collections page. To browse our collections by document type, such as correspondence, manuscripts, or scrapbooks, use the dropdown list of tags on the right.
To request items from these collections, or to see collections not yet listed on our website, please contact us.

Requesting information
Genealogical searches
Please contact us with the following required information:
- Name of person
- Affiliation with Drexel: student, faculty, administrator, etc.
- Year graduated or employed at Drexel
Any additional information you provide will assist us in maximizing our search. The following sources will be checked:
- Yearbooks
- Biographical reference collection
- Photograph collections
- Record of diplomas and certificates (1893-1914)
- Student record books, if applicable (prior to 1920)
- Alumni directories
- Index of student newspaper
Genealogical researchers are also welcome to conduct their own research in person. This might be necessary if potential sources are identified that are not included in the above list.
