Chemical Heritage Foundation–Grand Opening

Ten years in the making, the Chemical Heritage Foundation Museum and Conference Center will celebrate its official opening during Philadelphia’s “First Friday” festivities.

Come see chemistry as you’ve never thought of it before—from cosmetics to computers—as CHF opens its new exhibition galleries. Check out the permanent exhibition Making Modernity and then catch artists’ reactions to ten molecules that changed the 20th century in our first changing installation, Molecules That Matter.

Periodic Table of Videos

There are many web pages out there that offer wonderfully interactive periodic tables.  This site offers a short video presentation on each element of the periodic table.  These videos demonstrate, discuss, and generally explain something interesting about the element.  It is totally entertaining to boot!
