Community of Science (COS) is a resource and service subscribed by the University Libraries for the benefit of the Drexel University Research community. COS is a complete source for vital research information pertaining to grant opportunities. By creating a personalized profile the researcher is eligible to receive weekly announcements of funding opportunities related to his or her research interests. A completed profile that includes the details from the researcher's resume, becomes part of a database of potential project collaborators available to researchers across the thousands of universities and government agencies that subscribe to COS. An example of a comprehensive profile is displayed. Guidance for registering, instruction on usage, and information regarding this valuable resource are highlighted. Comparison of the participation levels of the University Colleges and Schools is shown. Through COS, Drexel researchers will be able to promote their research, track current research, find collaborators, and identify peer reviewers.
