In service to the scientists at the 21 institutions that make up the Florida Institute of Oceanography, the University of South Florida Libraries are constructing an online data archive and information center concerning the Gulf oil spill. Academic institutions across the affected region are being invited to collaborate on this project. This is a guide to some of the information and data concerning the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico and the clean-up efforts. A digital library containing many more documents and sources is under development.
