Databases on Trial

A new web page listing current trials for electronic resources can be accessed from:
Databases/Article Indexes for Trial

Among the databases currently on Trial are:

COS Papers Invited (trial)
Trial ends: February 22nd

The database consists of detailed information and deadlines about calls for papers for forthcoming conferences and special issues of scholarly journals. These calls for papers are issued by professional bodies, journal editors and other conference organizers in all disciplines and from all over the world. Thus, the database serves as an alerting service for researchers, scholars and students that are seeking opportunities to present and publish their research. IEEE Expert Now (Trial)

Over 70 engaging and highly interactive one-hour online learning courses from IEEE, covering the fields of aerospace, circuits & devices, communications, computing, optics, power and energy, professional development and more.

This trial ends March 8, 2008

KnowItAll AnyWare — Spectral Searching Made Easy (Trial)

This database contains: DrawIt for chemical structure drawing, ReportIt to generate high-quality lab reports, AnalyzeIt IR & Raman to interpret spectra, RefineIt IR & Raman and ProcessIt NMR, Sadtler Spectroscopy Handbooks Internet Edition, SymApps for molecular symmetry analysis, and General laboratory calculations.

This trial ends March 30, 2008.
