Drexel is now trialling Gale Cengage’s new GREENR database. Check it out!

GREENR: Global Reference On Energy, The Environment, and Natural Resources
GREENR (Global Reference on the Environment, Energy, and Natural Resources) is a new online resource that offers authoritative content on the development of emerging green technologies and discusses issues on the environment, sustainability and more. GREENR is interactive and current, allowing users to navigate issue, organization and country portals. It’s a one-stop site dedicated to studying sustainability and the environment.
This trial runs through August 21, 2009. Please send feedback abut this resource to Beth Ten Have at Hagerty Library.
MLA International Bibliography is the index published by the Modern Language Association which provides a classified listing and subject index for books and articles published on modern languages, literatures, folklore, and linguistics. Here at Drexel we subscribe to the online database version of this index as it is offered by OCLC Firstsearch, but we are evaluating the database on a couple of other platforms.
Current Access: MLA Bibliography via OCLC Firstsearch
On Trial: MLA Bibliography via CSA Illumina
On Trial: MLA Bibliography via Chadwyck-Healey
Please note that the Chadwyck-Healey access to this index is included should we decide to subscribe to the CSA Illumina access.
Take a look at all the offerings, and let Larry Milliken know what you think! This trial is good through July 17th, but we’d like to make a decision before July 1, so please take a look and tell Larry your thoughts at your earliest convenience.
yes, we already have that. We currently access PsycINFO and its full text journal counterpart PsycARTICLES using the OvidSP platform. Our trial to PsycINFO (and PsycARTICLES) is through EbscoHost. Larry Milliken is asking our Psychology department to compare the platforms to see if we may want to make a change in our access, and you are welcome to as well! The content should be identical, as both platforms draw both the PsycINFO index and the PsycARTICLES content directly from the American Psychological Association. The differences lie in the interface and ease of use. Take a look, and let Larry know your thoughts!
PsycINFO from OvidSP
PsycINFO from EbscoHost (trial)
Our trial access ends on November 21, 2008.
