It begins with a tutorial outlining a four step approach to reading the literature. There are sections on search strategies with links to helpful websites, a guide to critical appraisal of journal articles, and a glossary. A PDA version of this guide is also available for both Palm and Pocket PC.
AllPsych Online is one of the largest and most comprehensive psychology websites on the Internet. It provides free online textbooks on topics such as statistics and research methods. The Psychology Reference Section has a history of psychology timeline, biographies on important psychology figures, a dictionary, and more. AllPsych Online also offers diagnostic screening tests and self-help quizzes.
Statistics Online Computational Resource (SOCR) is a website designed for probability and statistics education, technology- based instruction and statistical computing. Its interactive tools include analyses, experiments, and games. This resource was developed by various UCLA departments and centers.

Started in 2003, the Teaching and Training Modules on Trends in Health and Aging are designed for students and health care professionals to explore trends in aging in the United States. The modules are based on and illustrated with data from the NCHS Data Warehouse on Trends in Health and Aging. The modules are in PDF format.
