Free Rehabilitation Database

REHABDATA, produced by the National Rehabilitation Information Center (NARIC), is a free database dealing with disability and rehabilitation. It describes more than 65,000 documents from 1956 to date, covering physical, mental, and psychiatric disabilities. Over thirteen hundred free, full text documents are available.

A new report is available online from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality — “Mistake-Proofing the Design of Health Care Processes”. The report contains over 150 practical examples of mistake-proofing that can be applied in health care — in many cases relatively inexpensively. It is aimed at “in-the-trenches workers” who face important decisions, judgments, and risks every day.
