RefWorks Group Code for Write-N-Cite

Patrons who use Write-N-Cite, must use the RefWorks group code, RWDrexelU, if they access Write-N-Cite from off campus. When patrons click on Write-N-Cite in Word, they will be asked to login with their RefWorks login and the group code.

PubMed Relevance Tool

ReleMed is an alternative search interface for PubMed. Users can search for PubMed citations but ReleMed will sort the results by the relevance to the topic. It also links to other resources such as Google, Scirus, and full-text vendors. ReleMed was created by researchers at the University of Virginia School of Medicine.

Add PubMed as a Search Engine

You can add PubMed to your browser as a search engine. It only works in Internet Explorer 7.0 and Firefox 2.0 for now. Go to PubMed and click the search box arrow in your browser’s upper right corner. Then select Add PubMed search. Make sure you go through the libraries’ PubMed link to get the Drexel holdings to come up.

New Trial for RefWorks: RefShare

The libraries are offering a trial to RefShare, an add-on feature in RefWorks which allows RefWorks users to share their folders or entire database. RefShare can be used for collaborative research or for a group project. For more information, please see the

Journal Information Database

Not sure which journal is most appropriate for the paper you want to publish? The Journal Info database, a free resource, provides lots of pertinent information. Over 18,000 journals are searchable by title or category. Most of the entries include the journal homepage link, open access status, where the journal is indexed, and the impact factor.
