The Health Sciences Libraries congratulate our senior medical students, and wish them success in their residency matches.
For an interesting perspective on Match Day, see Pauline Chen’s column in today’s New York Times, A Medical Student’s Rite of Passage, and the related discussion, Match Day: Medical Students Learn their Fate.
Many of our library patrons have brought to our attention a sporadic problem they have encountered when attempting to open journal articles within OVID and other journal collections. An article will appear to be available, but the user will receive a message that the file is “damaged” and cannot be opened.
Our systems staff are working on putting a permanent solution in place. In the meantime, however, we ask that anyone who encounters this problem contact us, either via email at hslib@drexel.edu, or phone — 215-762-7184 so that we can assist you in obtaining the journal article.
Thank you for your patience while we work on a solution to this problem.
