. . . cell phones, flashdrives, notebooks, flashdrives, coffee cups, glasses — even a pair of socks!
These are some of the things that have been turned in at the Hahnemann Library circulation desk and are waiting for their owners to claim them. If you’ve misplaced something recently, check at the circulation desk or at the Computer Lab help desk on the first floor.
A note about flashdrives: on average, we collect 4 or 5 a day. Put a simple text file on your flashdrive with your name, email address, etc. so we can contact you if we find it.
To all of our returning students! Those who were with us through the summer saw that there were a lot of changes going on. To catch everyone up on what’s new:
- Some space on the 1st floor has been repurposed to create new classrooms; the DVD players and other AV equipment that used to live in those rooms can now be requested for use in 2nd floor study rooms.
- The IRT help office have moved from the Library to room 1113 in the 1st floor corridor near the Student Life and Financial Aid offices; they’re still providing their some excellent level of service for those who need help configuring laptops to use the Dragonfly wireless network.
- As you can see, we’ve had a refresh of our homepage. All of your favorites are still right there are on the homepage — a useful new addition is the “My Accounts” section that gives one-click access to log in to your ILLiad, E-ZBorrow or library circulation accounts.
- New computers are being installed in the Library Classroom on the 1st floor — more, better, faster!
- The new smiling face at the second floor Circulation Desk is I-school student Gina Cacace, our new Circulation Clerk and Shelver. You can thank Gina for the neat appearance of our book shelves!
- And of course, we’re all very excited and waiting eagerly (coffee mugs in hand!) for the opening of the new Jazzman Cafe right outside our front door!
And as always, we’re looking forward to helping you have a successful Fall term!
Congratulations to graduating students, best of luck to the ACE students taking their final HESI exam, and to the rest — have a relaxing, rejuvenating vacation! See you in a couple of weeks!
