Who Moved My . . . ?

The elves were busy at Hahnemann Library while students were on break. They moved some collections to make them easier to find, and started condensing the general book collections.

  • Careers Collection — you’ll now find these useful books in the first section of shelving across from the circulation desk, near the printing station.
  • Oversize Books — these are now located to the right of the reference desk. If you’ve never browsed through our oversize books, take a look! We have everything from art books to anatomy atlases to A Sett of Anatomical Tables, with Explanations, and an Abridgment, of the Practice of Midwifery, With a View to illustrate at Treatise on the Subject and a Collection of Cases, originally published in 1754.
  • Yearbooks — can now be found directly behind the reference desk.

The general book collection is being condensed towards the front of the library; look for temporary tags to indicate the call numbers to be found in each section.

Health Sciences Careers Collection now at Hahnemann Library

In collaboration with Steinbright Career Development Center, health sciences careers materials have been moved from the Bellet Building to the Hahnemann Library.  Resume handbooks, admission test review books, and guides to career options are all available for 28-day borrowing.  They can be found on the shelves opposite the leisure reading and DVD collections.
