The Hahnemann and Queen Lane Libraries will close at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, November 23rd and will remain closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holidays. On Saturday and Sunday (11/26 and //27) Hahnemann Library will be open Noon – 6 pm; Queen Lane Library will be open Noon – 5 pm. 24-hour study areas at both libraries will remain open through the holiday and the weekend.

Hahnemann Library Hours, Labor Day Weekend and Beyond . . .
Hahnemann Library will be open Saturday, 9/3 and Sunday 9/4, from Noon to 6 p.m., but closed on Monday, 9/5 for the Labor Day holiday. The 24-hour study room will, of course, remain open through the weekend and on Monday.
After Labor Day, our summer schedule of hours (closing at 9:00 pm Monday – Thursday) will continue, most likely until the start of the Fall term. At that point, we hope to be able to hire a full roster of student employees so that we can restore our longer weekend and evening hours. Thank you for your continued patience during a staffing shortages this summer!

Memorial Day Weekend: Queen Lane and Hahnemann Library Hours
It’s the start of summer, the end of classes! To help you plan your study time around your holiday cookouts, here’s the Health Sciences Libraries’ hours for the weekend:
Queen Lane Library: close at 5:00 pm on Friday, May 27th. Closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Hahnemann Library: Regular hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday (see calendar); open Monday 10:00 am to 11:00 pm.

Martin Luther King Holiday
Hahnemann Library will be open with limited staff, but for regular hours (7:45 am – 11:00 pm), on Monday January 17th. The Queen Lane Library will be open only from Noon to 6 pm.

Holiday Hours for Health Sciences Libraries
In celebration of Independence Day, Hahnemann Library will be closed on Sunday, July 4th and Monday, July 5th (University Holiday). The Queen Lane Library will be closed from Saturday, July 3rd through Monday, July 5th.
Of course, the study areas in the Queen Lane Library, and the 24-hour study lounge at Hahnemann will remain open around the clock as always.
If you’re looking for entertainment while the libraries are closed, don’t forget that no city celebrates the Fourth of July like Philadelphia. The Welcome America festivities have already begun, and will continue through Monday with historical celebrations, free movies, and concerts and fireworks at both Penn’s Landing and the Art Museum.
