Welcome Back! What’s New?

Quite a few things, actually!

Did you notice our new Website?

We’ve done a visual refresh for a new, more contemporary look and for easier access to the information you need. You’ll still find all your old favorites, along with some new features, including library hours highlighted on the homepage. Let us know what you think!

New Classrooms in the Lower Level

That’s right–our classrooms are back and they’re better than ever! L13C and L14 are open and available for business. Please feel free to use the computers in those classrooms, as long as there are no library classes scheduled.

We also have two new classrooms (L13A and L13B) that are scheduled by the University Registrar. So if your class schedule says you have a class in Hagerty, then head to the lower level!

Reserve a Group Study Room Online!

Students at Hagerty can now reserve group study rooms online, without even coming to the library. Just tell us how many people you have and when you want to come, and we’ll guarantee you a space. Want to modify or cancel your reservation? You can do that online, too.

Reserve a study room by clicking the link on the library homepage (on the left under Quick Links).

Group study rooms will also be left unlocked, so students can use rooms without checking out a key from the Circulation Desk. Please be aware that students with reservations have priority.

Careers Collection is Back at Hagerty

The Careers Collection is now available at Hagerty Library. The Collection is shelved on the first floor at the rear of the computer hubs (near Rooms 133-136). Enjoy easy access to this collection whenever the library is open.

Welcome, New Students!

Congratulations — you’ve found your way to the Library! Learn about the services and resources the Libraries have to offer — online and in-person — on our New Students’ Guide to the Libraries.

Watch this space (or subscribe to this news blog) for tips for making the most of the libraries, and answers to some frequently asked questions.

Do you have a question for us? Ask us! By email, by instant messaging, by phone — or come in and say hello! No question too big, too small or too silly!

Be sure to check course reserves to see if we have textbooks for your courses available at the Circulation Desk.

Already feeling overwhelmed? Chill out with a great book or leisure DVD in the Bookmark Cafe, our 24-7 study space.

And most importantly…Welcome to Drexel. It’s great to have you here!
