We hope to see you during law school exams.
From April 27th to May 15th, during exams at the Earle Mack School of Law, the law library on the third floor of the Hagerty building will be closed to all non-law school students. But don’t let that scare you away. Although the rest of Hagerty will be closed to the general public during that time, it will be open to all Drexel students and other patrons showing a Drexel alumni ID or an ID from University of the Sciences of Philadelphia, University of Pennsylvania, or Temple University. All floors of the library will reopen to the public on May 16th.
Come on back, now!
Thanks to everyone who participated in today’s water challenge at Hagerty Library.
We asked you to see if you could taste the difference between tap water and bottled water. And exactly 1/3 of you could tell the difference. So, for those 2/3 who couldn’t, you have to ask yourself: is it worth it to buy bottled water when you can’t taste the difference anyway?
Here’s the answer key:
A – Tap
B – Tap
C – Bottled

Did you miss any of the episodes of the Discovery Channel series, “Planet Earth”? Hagerty Library will be screening episodes throughout the day. Come see episodes of this TV sensation offering spectacular views of our home planet. For a schedule and more information, click here.
Hard to believe, but there are thieves on campus. WATCH YOUR STUFF. If you don’t, it may disappear. Just ask the student whose unattended laptop was stolen from the 2nd floor of Hagerty Library earlier today. Next time you are tempted to walk away (just for a second) from your laptop or cell phone remember the homework, pdfs, phone numbers, photos, research notes, games and whatever else you might have stored on those devices. You can’t buy that stuff back…..
Whether you’re trying to bang out a rough draft or putting the finishing touches on your paper, the Drexel Writing Center can help. From now until the end of Spring term, the Writing Center will hold evening hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5 to 8pm in room 125, at the back of Hagerty Library’s first floor. Visit the Writing Center’s home page to learn how to make an appointment, or drop by and see if a tutor is available.
We’re in week three of the term; get writing!
