Reception: Wednesday September 30th, 4 to 6 p.m

In conjunction with ALA’s Banned Books Week September 26 – October 3rd. This exhibition, curated by Laurie Rizzo, displays written works that have been cause for conflict at one point in time or another. All the books in the exhibition are from Drexel’s Rare Books Collection. Materials chronicle 1700 years of banning, banishment and burnings over ideas so controversial that church and state alike sought to prevent their spread.

Need something? Ask at the reference desk, and if reference is closed for the day, the good folks at Circulation are sure to know what’s up.
*Sorry, during this period we’re closed to those who are not members of the Drexel community. Please come back after finals!
Starting Monday August 24th, part of Hagerty’s 2nd floor stacks will be closed for renovation. Need a book between HG185 and JN1? Let someone at the Circulation Desk know and they’ll get it for you.
Not sure what your book’s call number is? Look it up in the catalog. You’ll see a note that says: “Area under renovation–request this item at the Circulation Desk.” If you don’t see this note, or if your book is outside the range between C and JX, feel free to browse yourself.
