Café Cleaning this Weekend

The  Bookmark Café will undergo it’s usual daily closures for cleaning this weekend, but it will be shortened by a half hour. This means that on Saturday the 20th and Sunday the 21st, the café will be closed from 3:30-4p.m. instead of 3:00 to 4. You get an extra half hour to study in café luxury!

Culinary Commentary

WiiIn case you missed it, Dining Services is conducting a survey about campus food options. There are no specific questions about the food at Hagerty Library, but if you make it to the end you can fill in your own comments.

We’ve received a lot of commentary about food options in the Bookmark Café, so we know you’ve got something to say. Take a minute, fill out the survey, and get your voice heard. And don’t forget: you’ll be entered to win a Nintendo Wii!

Café Closures

broomWe’re updating our cleaning schedule in the Bookmark Café. Starting this Monday, November 2nd, the café will close between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. on weekdays and 3 and 4 p.m. on weekends. This will allow sufficient time for us to give the café a good scrub.

The main part of the library is open during our café cleaning hours. If you’re studying in the café during cleaning time, you’re welcome to move into the main part of the library while you wait for the staff to finish their work.

We’ll also be installing larger trash bins in the café. Please use them and help us maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable work environment at Hagerty Library.

Candy Happy Hour

Ah, Fall…how sweet it is.

Hagerty’s welcoming you back with candy. Meet us in the café between 5 and 6 today, check out the new interior design and food options, catch up with the library, and most important: eat candy.

See you there.

Hagerty Final Exam

We gave some of our tables a jump on the break by moving them back into the café, where they can really relax.  This means:

a) there’s more space to move around and browse the leisure book and DVD collections near Hagerty’s main entrance.

b) the café will reopen soon, at which time you’ll be able to move from library to lunch without ever having to go outside. This will also be a dedicated 24/7 study space.

c) both A and B are correct.

Your answer: C.
Your grade: A+.

Happy Labor Day, and happy break.
