Is a bookless library still a library?

We invite you post and share your comments below. What do you think – is a bookless library still a library?

Your Laptop: A Thing of Value

Theft is the number one crime on the Drexel campus, and your laptop is a prime target.

Please do not leave your laptop unattended for any amount of time in any public space, and that includes the library. Going to the bathroom, stepping away to make a phone call, and popping outside for a hotdog or cigarette all count as lengths of time away.

Even if you ask a neighbor to watch your stuff, his or her studiously bent eyes might not be quick enough to catch a seasoned thief. Wherever you go, no matter how long, if your laptop is out of site, it will very likely be stolen.

It happened today, and it happens a lot. So please: Protect your stuff.

Drexel Archives Kicks of Halloween

On Friday, 10/29, Drexel University Archives will kick off the Halloween weekend with a Zombie Party.

What’s a zombie party you ask? At the archives its when you gather Drexel students to eat luscious zombie-themed snacks, witness ghoulish acts of archival conservation, and take a creepy peak at some scary rare books from the deep.

Did I mention the snacks?

Come in your best zombie garb this Friday between 3 and 5 pm. The archives are located on the lower level of Hagerty Library.

Be there or be…undead!

Mu-ha-ha-Ha-HA-HAAA!

Drexel Food

Need a study break? Take the Drexel dining survey, and tell the university what you think of the food options on campus.

Taco Bell is on the survey, so if you love to eat cheesy gorditas while reading library books, here’s your chance to say so.
