Library 24/7

Beginning Thursday, December 2nd, the library will be open 24-hours a day. We’ll stay that way until Thursday December 9th, so you can get all the library time you need for studying.

During this time, the library will not be open to alumni, members of the public, or other visitors. If you are a current Drexel student or faculty or staff member, please remember your dragon card–you’ll need it to get into the building. Visitors with special request for access should contact Dee Childs.

Everyone knows space is tight at Hagerty. If you’re having trouble finding a seat, don’t forget Drexel has two other libraries:

Hahnemann Library / Center City–Health Sciences Campus
245 N. 15th St. Philadelphia, PA 19102/215-762-7631/hslib@drexel.edu
Like Hagerty, Hahnemann has laptops available for use on the premises.

Queen Lane Library / Queen Lane Medical Campus
2900 Queen Lane/ Philadelphia, PA 19129/ 215-991-8740

The Drexel shuttle goes to both campuses. Here’s the shuttle schedule.

Also, don’t forget there are lots of other libraries all around us–the Philadelphia Free Library branches. The closest are at 33rd and Haverford and 40th and Walnut. Find out more about them, and all their other branches.

Want to stay on campus?  Try these study areas around Drexel’s University City campus:

  • Pearlstein Business Learning Center: lounge at Starbucks
  • Matheson Hall (LeBow College of Business): Basement study area
  • Korman Hall: lobby
  • Nesbitt Hall (Westphal College of Media Arts and Design): lobby
  • Bossone Research Enterprise Center (School of Biomedical Engineering, Science, and Health  Systems): left of revolving doors past desk.
  • Lebow Engineering Center (College of Engineering):  Mobil Foundation lobby by the west revolving door
  • Rush Building (iSchool): courtyard and lobby
  • Creese Student Center: lobby and basement (Charlotte Alletag commuter lounge)
  • Commonwealth Hall (Bossone): two lobbies
  • Randell Hall: rooms 117-118

Pick up a campus map at Hagerty Library, or grab one here.
