Welcome to summer term! We’re happy to see you.
Yes, there are some things about being at school in the summer that are not ideal. But one of the perks is that the library is quieter in the summer. And we’re getting right into the swing of things, resuming our regular term hours starting this weekend, Saturday, June 18th.
Come by, get a head start on readings, or just enjoy the solitude!
We’re celebrating the holidays by staying open during the winter break! We’re not open every day, though. Here’s the rundown:
- Friday, December 24th-Sunday, December 26th: Hagerty closed for the university holiday.
- Monday, December 27th-Thursday, December 30th: Hagerty open from 9am-5 pm.
During this time we’ll be closed to the general public, but open to the Drexel community and alumni. - Friday, December 31st-January 1st: Hagerty closed for the university holiday. Happy New Year!
- Sunday, January 2nd: Hagerty resumes it’s regular hours.
Hahnemann and Queen Lane libraries will be closed from December 24th through January 9th.
Confused? Check out our hours for any given day.
Happy Holidays!

Finals are over! (almost.) Whether you’ve finished your finals or you have a few more hours ahead of you, Drexel University Libraries wishes you peaceful passage to the end of 2010.
Sticking around awhile longer? Hang out at Hagerty. We’re open weekdays through the end of the year, with the exception of December 24th and 31st. Check out our hours for all the details. You can also see Hanneman’s and Queen Lane’s hours from that page.
From Monday, December 13th through Thursday, December 23rd, we’ll reopen to alumni and the public. During the week between Christmas and New Years Eve (December 27th through the 30th) we’ll be open to alumni and affiliated patrons, but not to members of the general public.
If you’re off campus until next term, happy holidays, and see you in 2011!
Drexel University Libraries will be closed on Thursday, November 25th, and Friday, November 26th, for the Thanksgiving holiday.
We’ll be closing early on Wednesday, November 24th as well: at 5pm. We’ll reopen for normal business on Saturday the 27th.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Drexel Library is joining the university and celebrating our independence from the British with a couple days off. We’ll be closed on Sunday, July 4th and Monday July 5th.
Come by Saturday for the stuff you need for the weekend. We’ll see you back here on Tuesday the 6th.
Happy Independence Day!
You made it through another exam period. Well done! Now get some rest.
We’re going to take a break ourselves by closing this Sunday, December 13th. When we reopen on Monday, we’ll also return to normal business hours, and we’ll invite alumnae and members of the public in as well.
So welcome back, alums and public!
