We’re so excited to see Drexel’s newest class around campus today. We’ll be meeting up with you over at the Library Learning Terrace this afternoon. Meanwhile, stop in at Hagerty Library for some quiet time and cooled air. And learn your way around while it’s quiet. Tell your family members to come by too.

The Bookmark Café has been restored to its pre-orientation furniture arrangement, and we hope this makes for a more comfortable area for you.

During new student orientation we had kind of an odd seating arrangement in the café to accommodate the hundreds of incoming first-years who swarmed through Hagerty Library twice a week.  We really appreciate your patience with the whole process, and we hereby turn the Bookmark Café back over to you.

p.s. Taco Bell’s still closed for the summer, but you’re welcome to bring outside food and enjoy it in the café while you study, chat, or just veg out.

Drexel Library is very excited to be meeting all the upcoming new students during orientation activities. On Mondays and Thursdays, 2:00-5:30p.m., now through August 5th, we’ll be greeting new students in Hagerty’s Bookmark Café. The café will be open to all, but if you are in there during that time, please try to stay toward the 33rd street side of the café. Otherwise you’ll be deluged with orienteers and librarians.
