Drexel Food

Need a study break? Take the Drexel dining survey, and tell the university what you think of the food options on campus.

Taco Bell is on the survey, so if you love to eat cheesy gorditas while reading library books, here’s your chance to say so.

Morning Rush @ DU Libraries

Whether you got a great night’s sleep or have been cramming all night, you’re going to need a good charge on the morning of your final exams. Stop by Hagerty and Hahnemann libraries on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday during finals and have coffee, tea, and healthy snack on us.

Our Morning Rush coffee breaks are sponsored by the Provost’s Office and University Housing. Thanks to them, you’ll be starting your busy days off right.

Countdown to the Cram: Hagerty Tip 10

The list goes on for ever, but here’s the last of the top 10 ways Hagerty can help you fight the beast named final exams.

Nap Time

Could it be? Could finals be coming to an end? Whether you’re still knee deep in studying or you’re just rounding the corner to the finish line, you need to get some rest. Don’t study until you can’t see straight; take a power nap. Hagerty’s got couches all over the building, and if you don’t have time to go home and get a proper night’s sleep, a couch and 20 minutes may be just the thing that gets you ready for finals–or for the party that follows.

Countdown to the Cram: Hagerty Tip 9

Another way Hagerty can help you make it to the end of finals in one piece.

Mental Health Break

All work and no play will definitely make you duller during exams. You’ve got to take a break every once in awhile. Give your brain a rest and do something enjoyable. Check out our lists of new and current leisure books and DVDs. If you think you’ve seen it all, we’ve got new additions as of June 4th. Just click on the “New Books” or “New DVDs” links. Or better yet, stop by and browse.

While you’re here, take a look around the Bookmark Cafe. We’ve got the latest in magazines and newspapers.  Can’t make it out? Hagerty subscribes to many of the latest popular magazines online, including US Weekly, Vogue, Scientific American, and Sports Illustrated.

Countdown to the Cram: Hagerty Tip 5

Hot study tip #5.

Snack and Soda Machines

Stop by Hagerty’s vending machines at the back of the Bookmark Cafe for whatever you’re craving during study break–sweet, salty, crunchy, and even healthy. We’ve got drinks too. So there’s no excuse for studying on an empty stomach, even at 3 in the morning.

BREAKING NEWS: The vending machines have been moved out of the Bookmark Cafe and into room L15 on Hagerty’s lower level. They are awaiting refills at the moment, but they’ll be available all summer in L15.
