With Microsoft Excel, you can create a range of chart types to compare items, show composition, illustrate a trend, or show relationships among variables. In this hands-on, introductory workshop you will learn how to use the basic chart tools available in Microsoft Excel 2010 (Windows version).

Create and customize the look and layout of a chart
Format a chart’s axes
Add chart titles and other common chart components
Print to PDF and export the chart to Word and PowerPoint

Zotero is an open-source reference management tool. With one click, Zotero can automatically import bibliographic information that it “senses” in many library databases as well as library catalogs and web sites such as The New York Times, Wikipedia, Flickr and Amazon. You can attach notes, links, and PDFs to records in your Zotero library.
Zotero’s Microsoft Word plugin helps you to quickly create in-text citations, endnotes, and bibliographies in a variety of citation styles.
In this hands-on, introductory workshop you will learn how to:

Import citation information into Zotero
Organize your Zotero library
Create bibliographies
