A DU Birthday

Did you know that today is the birthday of George W. Childs? Childs was one of Anthony Drexel's great friends and an important founder of our fair university. And he was born on this date in 1829.

Drexel Archives is throwing George Childs a birthday party this afternoon from 4 to 6pm. Drop by Hagerty's lower level, have some birthday cake, and browse the highlights from Childs collection.
