New Library Learning Environment: UPDATE

Drexel Library is excited to announce plans for additional space on University City campus. Drexel's Library Learning Terrace will be a bookless library located at 33rd and Race Streets, and it will be completed by spring of next year.

What will it offer? That's up to Drexel students. We want to know what you need in the Library Learning Terrace, so we're asking you to help us plan.

We're continuing the conversation with another town on Wednesday, December 1st. Please come and help us create a new student-centered learning environment.

What: Town Hall Meeting
When: Wednesday, December 1st, 5-6:30pm
Where: Bookmark Cafe, Hagerty Library
Why: Have your opinions heard.
How: Go straight to the top. Meet with Danuta Nitecki, Dean of Drexel Libraries, Robert Francis, VP of University Facilities, Scott Erdy from Erdy McHenry Architecture, LLC, and your fellow students for an open discussion of design and planning goals for the Library Learning Terrace.

Pizza will be served.

Looking for more information? The Triangle has been keeping close tabs on the progress. Read their news pieces from November 5th and November 12th.
