Libraries Hosts Orientation to Welcome New Drexel Employees Working at the Academy of Natural Sciences

On Thursday, August 23, 2012, Danuta A. Nitecki, dean of libraries, and John Wiggins, director of library services and quality improvement, hosted an orientation session at the Academy of Natural Sciences for Academy colleagues joining the Drexel community.  The orientation session introduced attendees to the Libraries’ services, including how to locate and borrow material and access collections and services remotely.

In total, 25 people attended the sessions and nearly 250 Academy staff joined the Drexel community, gaining Libraries’ privileges and adding new faces to the Libraries' diverse stakeholder groups.
