To kick off the New Year, I sat down with our manager of discovery systems, Spencer Lamm to learn more about the work being done in the Libraries’ systems department.
On Monday, December 16th, Eddie Rubeiz joined the Libraries’ systems department as the new web developer. Eddie joins the Libraries from the Columbia University Center for New Media Teaching and Learning. His primary focus will be on developing, implementing and maintaining the user-focused aspects of the Libraries web sites and applications.
Eddie’s office is located in W. W. Hagerty Library.
A newer version of ARES (the Libraries' course reserves system) will be installed Wednesday, September 4th. While the installation is in progress, there will be no access to library electronic course reserves. Students will be unable to access course reserves and professors will be unable to place course reserves requests. This outage will start at 9 AM and should take no longer than 2 hours.
E-Z Borrow has been hard at work getting you those must-have items from other libraries as quickly as possible. But hard workers need naps from time to time, and E-Z Borrow's will be the morning of Friday, April 10th from 9am to noon. Can't find what you're looking for at Hagerty?
