Dr. Selçuk Güçeri, dean of the College of Engineering, announced that the development of a super capacitor by Dr. Yury Gogotsi, professor of materials science and engineering and director of the Drexel Nanotechnology Institute, and his team, including John Chmiola (left), Ph.D. student, and Dr. Cristelle Portet, former post-doctoral researcher, was ranked second by the National Science Foundation among readers' most interesting topics of 2008.
