| This year is the 200 anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin, whose observations of nature propelled theories of evolution of life on Earth. Hagerty library is commemorating this event with an exhibit on Darwin focusing on his trip to the Galapagos Islands on the HMS Beagle. On display is a copy of the book that started it all, On the Origin of Species... published in 1859. |
