Applications for 3D printing run the gamut – and the impressive work being done at Drexel spans a wide variety of disciplines from including art, medicine, design, and engineering. On Tuesday, November 12, the Libraries featured the work of Wei Sun, PhD, an assistant professor in the College of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems. Sun is working on several projects that explore the possibility of printing human tissue.
Three-dimensional information was the topic of conversation at 3D at Drexel: Imaging, Designing, and Printing, an event hosted by Drexel University Libraries on Wednesday, June 5, 2013. Over 50 students, faculty and staff attended the lunch-time session.
