Students from the Drexel University College of Medicine showcased their creativity and won first place in the University of South Carolina School of Medicine’s Memmy awards, a student-produced video contest. The winning video earned Drexel’s Libraries a $2,500 donation.
This is the first year the University of South Carolina School of Medicine has hosted the Memmy awards and there were 29 entries from medical schools across the United States and the globe.
Drexel University Libraries has extended its a Liaison Program to the Health Sciences, designating specific librarians as liaisons to health sciences programs and schools. Through the liaison program the Libraries seek to enhance communication and deepen partnerships with health sciences departments in Drexel University's College of Medicine, School of Public Health, and College of Nursing and Health Professions.

When Ye Hard Work is Done draws on photographs and objects from the Drexel University College of Medicine (DUCOM) Legacy Center to provide a sense of student life in the early years of these two institutions, the Woman’s Medical College and Hahnemann University.
