Due to weather related concerns, Hahnemann library will be closed Sunday, August 28. The 24 hour area will remain open.
Hahnemann Library will be open Saturday, 9/3 and Sunday 9/4, from Noon to 6 p.m., but closed on Monday, 9/5 for the Labor Day holiday. The 24-hour study room will, of course, remain open through the weekend and on Monday.
After Labor Day, our summer schedule of hours (closing at 9:00 pm Monday - Thursday) will continue, most likely until the start of the Fall term. At that point, we hope to be able to hire a full roster of student employees so that we can restore our longer weekend and evening hours.
Ten titles from the acclaimed "The Requisites" radiology series have been added to the Libraries' e-book collections. Reviews of the titles in this series are uniformly positive:
". . . unique in its approach, complete in its content, and profuse in its illustrative and tabular material." (AJNR)
"Should be well received by residents preparing for their board examinations . The author is to be congratulated because she has captured the flux of breast imaging." (AJR)
DynaMed is a 'point-of-care' clinical reference tool that provides evidence-based summaries for over 3,200 clinical topics, with daily updates.

Suggestion submitted, 7/5/2011:
Please keep the downstairs open past 5:30! There's no room upstairs to spread out!! (unless you own a laptop, which I dont)
Due to the scarcity of student workers, the Hahnemann Library will have reduced staffing in the evenings and on weekends through the remainder of the summer. To ensure the security of our students and staff, we are implementing the following changes:
24-hour Study Area: This area will now be closed off from the main area of the Library at around 5 pm on weekdays. We will follow the same closing process currently in use: patrons studying in the 24-hour area will be asked to exit through the Library.
