Dr. Robert Field to Speak about the Government's Role in Health Care at March ScholarSip Event
Drexel faculty and professional staff are invited to celebrate the end of fall term at ScholarSip on Monday, March 18th from 4:30 – 6:30 PM at Drexel's Academic Bistro. ScholarSip is an informal event that brings together individuals from across campus to join in cross-disciplinary conversations.
Library Staff from Drexel, Penn and Temple Gather at Annual Event
“Be bold, be bold, be not too bold,” was the theme of the keynote presentation James Shulman, president of ARTstor, gave at the annual gathering on Friday, January 11, 2013. Over 100 members of the library staffs from Drexel University, Temple University and the University of Pennsylvania were present as Shulman spoke about how bold ideas can lead to innovation.
Appropriately, the event was held in Drexel’s Library Learning Terrace, a space that was created as a result of the bold idea to embed the libraries in the heart of the student residential area.
Libraries to Host Event Celebrating Drexel Authors
Join the Office of the Provost and Drexel University Libraries to celebrate Drexel’s 2012 authors on Thursday, February 28th from 4 – 6 PM at the A. J. Drexel Picture Gallery. Over 25 authors will be recognized by Provost Greenberg at this inaugural event. Please RSVP if you plan to attend.

A brief presentation titled, “A New Giant Dinosaur from Patagonia Argentina,” featuring the cross-disciplinary research of Kenneth Lacovara, Ph.D. will take place at 5:00 PM.
