W. W. Hagerty Library closing at 10:30PM on Monday, April 2

W. W. Hagerty Library will be closing at 10:30PM on Monday, April 2, 2012 due to a scheduled PECO power outage.

All facilities within W. W. Hagerty Library, including the Bookmark Cafe, will be closed from 10:30PM on Monday, April 2 until 7:30AM on Tuesday, April 3.

What's the deal with the Lower Level?

Perhaps you're wondering why the lower level of W. W. Hagerty has been closed...

"The Libraries escaped damage from both the earthquake and hurricane Irene, but unfortunately the tremendous amount of rain in the days following proved to be too much for the city's drainage system, and we had some water damage in W. W. Hagerty's lower level as a result. We are working with University Facilities to get the lower level re-opened as quickly as possible so that students can use the space, but also want to make sure that we are adhering to all appropriate safety measures," Danuta A.

Hagerty Access Restrictions for 24/7 Exam Period

Hagerty Library will go to 24 hour / 7-day-a-week access beginning Thursday March 12th for exams.  During this time Hagerty will be open only to current Drexel students, faculty & staff.  You MUST have a current DragonCard to enter the building during the 24/7 period.  Hagerty will re-open to alumni and members of the general public on March 23rd.
