Three-dimensional information was the topic of conversation at 3D at Drexel: Imaging, Designing, and Printing, an event hosted by Drexel University Libraries on Wednesday, June 5, 2013. Over 50 students, faculty and staff attended the lunch-time session.

Lacovara Speaks at Fourth ScholarSip Event

Over 60 Drexel faculty and professional staff gathered together to toast the last day of fall classes and join in cross-disciplinary conversations at the Libraries’ quarterly ScholarSip event held on Monday, December 10th. Associate professor of biology, Kenneth Lacovara, Ph.D., offered the evening’s ‘food for thought’ with his presentation on the discovery of a new giant dinosaur in Patagonia, Argentina.

Lacovara provided a humorous and insightful presentation about his numerous trips to the remote area in Patagonia where he and his team discovered fossils representing one or two large dinosaurs.

Drexel faculty and professional staff are invited to celebrate the end of fall term at ScholarSip on Monday, December 10th from 4:30 – 6:30 PM at Drexel's Academic Bistro. ScholarSip is an informal event that brings together individuals from across campus to join in cross-disciplinary conversations.

A brief presentation titled, “A New Giant Dinosaur from Patagonia Argentina,” featuring the cross-disciplinary research of Kenneth Lacovara, Ph.D. will take place at 5:00 PM.
