Drexel University Libraries now has access to the Vogue Archive, which is a complete searchable archive of American Vogue, from the first issue in 1892 to the current month, reproduced in high-resolution color page images.
Every page, advertisement, cover and fold-out has been included, with rich indexing enabling you to find images by garment type, designer and brand names.
Drexel University Libraries is running a trial of the Adam Matthew Education database until April 30th. You can access the trial at http://records.library.drexel.edu/record=e1000939~S9. You need to select the "Login" option from the "Trial our collections" box on the righthand side. You'll be prompted to select which collection you are interested in.
I plan on using this blog to alert you to new services the library has or, in this case, a trial of new features for an existing service. Not all the things I will be posting will be of equal interest to all program. For example, I think this announcement will be of particular interest to members of Design and Merchandizing and Fashion Design.
