Textbooks on Reserve [Hagerty Library]

Textbook.jpg

If a book is required for a class, it should be on reserve. Thanks for the awesome, upgraded video library.

We’re glad you’re enjoying all the new DVDs. There are more on the way, so keep checking back for the latest titles.

We place materials on course reserve at the instructor’s request. Unless we hear from the instructor, we do not know that a particular book is needed. I encourage you to talk to your faculty and department heads to encourage that the library is notified of all course reserve materials. On the library’s end, each subject librarian does their best to contact faculty and encourage them to send updated course reserves lists. The library does not purchase copies of all textbooks that are used in classes, because new editions are printed so frequently. Within a few years, we would have a library filled with out-of-date textbooks. Thanks for your patience!
