Ability to borrow older copies of magazines same as other libraries.
Thanks for your suggestion. Currently we do not circulate the print magazines that you see in the Bookmark Cafe, as is standard practice in most libraries. However, we will take your proposal into consideration. Most periodicals can be accessed online in full-text through the library website anytime and from anywhere. We hope this helps.
The quality of the DragonFly and DragonFly 3 Wireless Network is really bad. Could you talk to the technical services to improve it? Thank you.
Thanks for your suggestion. IRT has been having difficulty getting DragonFly 3 to work properly in Hagerty, Creese, and a few other locations around campus but we are actively working with them on possible fixes and hope they will have it corrected shortly. If you continue to have troubles, shoot them an email at networking@drexel.edu or call the IRT Helpdesk at 215-895-2698.
I would be positively elated if you got more DVDs of Pedro Almodovar & Frederico Fellini! Also- I suggest getting Ms. Magazine. I’ve never seen it here before.
Thank you for your suggestion. We will certainly consider adding more Pedro Almodovar and Frederico Fellini movies to our collection. In the meantime, you can always check out Almodovar’s Atame! and Volver, and we have Fellini’s I Vitelloni, Amarcord, and Nights of Cabiria on reserve. As for Ms. Magazine, we have old print issues (from 1972-1998) in storage, but you can access every issue of Ms. Magazine from 1988-2008 in full-text online! Like most of our periodicals, we have online access to the full-text but no longer collect the periodical in print.

Dear Sir or Madam: May I recommend the book Nicotine in Psychiatry by Mipiasecki & P Newhouse? Especially for the Med School Library. Excellent resource.
Thanks for your recommendation. We decided to go ahead and purchase the book for Hagerty Library. Check out its catalog record!
The Advocate Magazine? We see no magazines with articles related to LGBTQ studies. Thank you.
Thank you for your suggestion. You will be happy to know that we do have The Advocate! However, like most of our periodicals, it is not available in print, but rather online in full-text. You can see the available issues here. Also, we have many periodicals related to LGBTQ studies here at the library. A keyword search for “gay periodicals” in the library catalog turned up twenty titles!
Can you give a better reason/suggestion about why law students are better/deserve more on the 3rd floor? Renting laptops is not a valid response…
We appreciate your concern. There is continual renovation and development throughout Drexel’s campus, and while we sympathize with the space crunch here at the library, we appreciate your cooperation and neighborliness in light of the challenge of sharing space and resources. We value all of our students here at Drexel University and we also value the University’s commitment to growth and progress. We are excited that campus administration is working to create new student study spaces throughout campus to address this issue. Thanks for your patience.
Please allow guests who hold a Drexel library card to have access during finals periods.
Thanks for expressing your concern. Alumni, library card holders, and members of the public are not allowed in the library during exam (and exam preparation) times because of a very short supply of seating and study space for our students. We instituted this restriction in order to create the best possible environment for our students. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, but we hope you will understand.
Can you get a change machine near the entrance of the library? This would be really helpful, because the change machine at the Creese Student Center often runs out of quarters on the weekend.
Thanks for your question. We agree that a change machine would certainly help our students, and we will look into the possibility. In the meantime, if the Creese Student Center is out of quarters, there is also a change machine at 30th Street Station.
I would like to see more updated DVDs. Thanks.
Thanks for your suggestion. We are actually ordering new DVDs each month! For a list of the latest new DVDs, see the “New AV List” at http://innoserv.library.drexel.edu/ftlist.
How much is the late fee for an overdue book?
Great question! Most books have a fine of $.25 per day. Full information on fines is available here: http://www.library.drexel.edu/services/circulation.html#fines.
