American History In Video 1890 to Present

American History in Video includes approximately 1,000 hours of newsreels from the late 1890s to the 1980s. Beginning with the Spanish American War, the early films provide documentary footage of actual people, places, and events together with interviews and other broadcast content from the period. In addition to the ?officially received? perspectives offered by newsreels, this collection includes some 200 hours of rare, hard-to-find, and diverse perspectives as captured in a wide range of short films. Alongside the contemporaneous materials are some 750 high-quality documentaries from video content producers such as The History Channel that Covering the full gamut of American history from the pre-Colonial period through the twentieth century.

Library of Congress historical collections online, comprised of written and audio-visual materials, with roughly 120 collections in all subject areas.

American Song 1750 - 1960

American Song is a history database that allows people to hear and feel the music from America's past. The database includes songs by and about American Indians, miners, immigrants, slaves, children, pioneers, and cowboys. Included in the database are the songs of Civil Rights, political campaigns, Prohibition, the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, anti-war protests, and more. This release includes 763 albums, equaling 12,542 tracks.

Catalogue of Digitized Medieval Manuscripts

The database will initially provide links to hundreds of manuscripts, which we expect quickly to grow to thousands. Basic information about the manuscripts is fully searchable, and users can also browse through the complete contents of the database.

Constitutions of the Countries of the World and Constitutions of the United States: National and State Dates vary

Offers access to English language translations of the current constitutions of 187 countries, with scholarly commentary and citations to secondary works. Historical documents (usually earlier constitutions) in English translation are available for many countries. Also includes up-to-date constitutions for the United States (with commentary) and all 50 U.S. states, plus 15 U.S. territories. Historical documents include proposed amendments to the U.S. Constitution and earlier constitutions of many U.S. states.
