The Journal of Culture and Retail Image is an annual publication of Drexel University's Design and Merchandising Department and Drexel University Libraries. The journal strives to expand both our students' research and writing skills as well as the larger field of retail research.

Focusing on the fashion retail environment, each issue is dedicated to a particular topic and includes student papers from the sophomore course DSMR 465. The first issue of the journal was electronically published on the world wide web in November 2008 and included selected papers from Dr. Joseph Hancock's Summer 2007 course focusing on Menswear.
