Health Sciences Reference Librarians will perform literature searches on health-sciences-related topics for a fee for University-affiliated persons. "Mediated literature searches" are defined as those searches requested by the patron to be done solely by the librarian, as opposed to searches done by the patron with the assistance of a librarian.
For searches taking up to 1/2 hour, the fee will be $25, with an additional $25 charged for each additional 1/2 hour. The Libraries will also charge for database-related costs levied by data suppliers that pertain specifically to the search(es) performed. The possibility of such charges will be explained before a search is performed.
Mediated literature search services will be provided to primary user groups: University faculty, students, staff and residents, and alumni, with a restriction of 3 searches per year for alumni.
To request a literature search, please contact the Hahnemann Library Reference Desk, 215-762-7184, or one of the Health Sciences Reference Librarians.
