Drexel Libraries COVID-19 Updates & Guidelines

The Drexel Libraries provides services and resources for students, faculty and staff, while complying with public health guidelines and the University’s health and safety protocols.

Latest Updates

The following are updates as of December 14, 2022:

  • Masks are currently recommended inside the Libraries’ physical locations. Drexel strongly recommends that unvaccinated persons always wear masks when indoors for their protection. Drexel will provide KN95 and/or KF94 high filtration masks to students and employees who request them. Locations to request a mask include the W. W. Hagerty Library, DAC, Recreation Center, Main Building Lobby, Kline School of Law, New College Building lobby, the Queen Lane security desk and COVID testing centers.
  • The Libraries is open to all visitors, including members of the public.

All services are subject to change; revisions will be made as necessary with guidance from Drexel University, city and state officials, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Check this page regularly for the latest news and updates about our facilities, resources and services or follow us on TwitterFacebook and Instagram.

Access On-campus Learning Environments

The Drexel Libraries' three physical locations are open to all guests, affiliates and visitors, including members of the general public.

Masks are recommended in all Drexel Libraries locations at this time. While the decision to wear a mask will often be up to you, your decision affects you and those around you. Wearing a mask indoors is still recommended where distancing is not possible and COVID risk remains present. Further, Drexel strongly recommends that unvaccinated persons always mask when indoors for their protection.
