Abby Adamczyk is the Liaison Librarian for Medicine at Drexel University. As a liaison librarian, she teaches the scholarly literature and information research skills needed by students in medicine and the biomedical sciences. Abby also partners with faculty and students to develop greater awareness of research data management practices and trends in scholarly communications.

Abby was previously the Drexel University Liaison Librarian for Life Sciences. Prior to joining Drexel, Abby was Research Librarian at the Eccles Health Sciences Library of the University of Utah. From 2006 -2011 she was a research technologist in McKusick-Nathans Institute of Genetic Medicine at Johns Hopkins University where she participated in human genetics research. She holds a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, an MLIS with Health Resources & Services concentration from the University of Pittsburgh and is a member of the Academy of Health Information Professionals.
