Elise Ferer is the librarian for undergraduate learning and works with campus partners to integrate the library and information literacy into the undergraduate experience. She works closely with the Freshman English sequence and orientation as well as other units on campus that support undergraduates.
Prior to coming to Drexel, Elise served as a liaison librarian at a small liberal arts college that had a strong library instruction program where she had the opportunity to teach a noncredit class in library resources for English majors and collaborate with the college's writing center. Elise is interested in designing and assessing effective library instruction, collaborating with writing and tutoring centers, and how academic integrity is communicated to students.
