Gary Childs is the Drexel University Librarian for Nursing and Health Professions. He educates and instructs the Drexel community, focusing on the utilization of library-related databases, tools and resources. He specializes in health sciences-based library instruction, with a focus on evidence-based practices and the use of bibliographic citation tools like EndNote.

Mr. Childs has a strong commitment to volunteer service, which is demonstrated by his previous roles on the board of the Medical Library Association of Philadelphia and his continued work in animal rescue and advocacy.
